Bush har skylla!

Alle som har fått med seg noe om katastrofen i New Orleans har vel egene teorier om hva som har skjedd.
Jeg som mange andre skyllet på Bush

Tror dere faen (unnskyld uttrykket) meg ikke jeg fikk rett også?

Det ER Bush sin feil!

Myndighetene i New Orelands har lenge vist om faren for hva som kom til å skje hvis en flom eller en orkan kom. Derfor hadde Clinton øremerket penger til et prosjekt som skulle forhindre dette.
Bush brukte pengene i Iraq

Likte spesielt hans svært kreative forslag :” -orkanen var jo uansett over og hva i all verden kunne du gjøre, stikke fingeren i den diken?”

Hvem vet - det kunne ha funka da..? Jeg klarer ihvertfall lett å se det for meg..!

I enjoy this site, but was disapointed by the ignorance you show in blaming Bush for this fiasco.

The plain fact is, lives were needlessly lost in New Orleans due to the failure of Louisiana’s governor, Kathleen Blanco, and the city’s mayor, Ray Nagin.

The primary responsibility for dealing with emergencies does not belong to the federal government. It belongs to local and state officials who are charged by law with the management of the crucial first response to disasters. First response should be carried out by local and state emergency personnel under the supervision of the state governor and his emergency operations center.

The actions and inactions of Gov. Blanco and Mayor Nagin are a national disgrace due to their failure to implement the previously established evacuation plans of the state and city. Gov. Blanco and Mayor Nagin cannot claim that they were surprised by the extent of the damage and the need to evacuate so many people. Detailed written plans were already in place to evacuate more than a million people. The plans projected that 300,000 people would need transportation in the event of a hurricane like Katrina. If the plans had been implemented, thousands of lives would likely have been saved.

I don’t think you understod what I tryed to say.
I’m not balming Bush for the late support to the victims, but I’m blaming Bush for using the money that was earmarked for preventing this disaster…

Remember that our Congress makes the budget, not the President.

Its not feasible to protect the coast from category 4 and 5 hurricanes - when they come you evacuate and repair damage afterwards. That is where the local and state governments performed poorly - they even blocked emergency supplies from entering the city.

Also, New Orleans residents have sometimes resisted federal improvements to the protective systems.

Vital repairs for which a whopping $600 million had been appropriated by the federal government were stopped after residents of the Ninth Ward complained about the noise created by the repair project and sued to halt it.

The Industrial Canal, now operated and maintained mostly by the federal government, which the Journal described as “the area’s defining presence since it was built in the 1920s,” has been damaged by the passage of time and heavy use.

Barges and ships were routinely delayed because of growing traffic levels and the lock was “literally falling apart at the hinges” in 1998, according to a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers report, which called it an “antique” and recommended replacing it.

The lock replacement project didn’t get very far because Ninth Ward residents complained about noise and launched a legal fight that bogged down the work.

Håper du leser Norsk for engelsken min er så dårlig at jeg orker ikke svare på det språket.
Jeg skjønner hva du mener, men hvis jeg ikke tar helt feil så har faktisk Bush innrømmet skyld for en del av dette nå.

Kan ikke noe for det, men liker ikke fyren.
